An AI browser game can mean two different things. In an AI-made game, the developer used AI to help create the code, artwork or other assets. In an AI-powered game, a model takes part while you play, for example by recognizing a drawing or continuing a story. A game can belong to both groups.

AI-made games: AI helps create the game

The resulting game may work like an ordinary puzzle, shooter or arcade game. The AI-made label does not mean you will chat with a character or need an AI subscription. Check the game description to see what you actually do.

Gravity Maze is one example: its creator describes using Cursor during development. VIBE declares AI assistance with code. These statements describe how the games were made, rather than a promise of intelligent characters.

AI-powered games: AI participates in play

In Quick, Draw!, a neural network tries to recognize your sketch. Semantris uses language models to respond to word associations. AI Dungeon creates interactive stories from your choices. Some games respond to words, others to pictures or choices. Choose the kind of interaction you enjoy.

What to check before opening a game

  • Whether the game needs a network connection, account or paid allowance.
  • Whether your device has the right input method. A page that opens on a phone may still require a keyboard.
  • Whether anything you type, draw or upload is sent to the game provider. Read that provider's privacy information.
  • What the AI feature does, if anything, while you play.

What about classic browser ports?

A port moves an existing game or engine into a browser. That alone does not establish AI involvement. Some ports also need files from a game you already own. Check the requirements in our browser ports guide.
