For a puzzle break, start with the decision you want to make: fit a block, untangle a ring, plan a marble jump or spell a word. These four games appear in our At your pace selection. Each has documented controls and a brief browser play check recorded on October 11, 2026.

That pace label is not a promise that every mode has no timer. Kerslide and Drag2words have explicit no-countdown descriptions. Ring Release and Marble Solitaire Arcade offer deliberate puzzle moves, but we have not confirmed timing rules for every puzzle or alternate mode.

Kerslide: plan for the board after the clear

Drag a piece onto the 8-by-8 board. Clearing a row shifts the remaining blocks right; clearing a column shifts them down. Pieces pushed off the edge disappear. Before releasing, examine both the line you will clear and where the other blocks will end up. That second step is what separates this from a simple block-fitting puzzle.

For keyboard play, use 1 to 3 to choose a piece, the arrow keys to position it and Enter to place it. Esc pauses. The creator's instructions confirm the controls and absence of a timer; our recorded check also covered the tutorial's row-clear shift.

Ring Release: use a reversible move to understand a link

Look at the ring gaps rather than the cover artwork. Drag around a ring's center to rotate it, or tap to move it toward its next link. A piece can lift free when all its connections open together. If a rotation blocks another connection, undo and test the other direction.

On a keyboard, the left and right arrows select a ring; Q and E rotate it. Z undoes a move and H requests a hint. The publisher describes 60 puzzles, unlimited undo, hints and local progress. These features make trial and revision useful without requiring a complete solution before your first move.

Marble Solitaire Arcade: make one legal jump first

Choose Play, then a board such as English Cross. Select a marble beside another marble, then select the empty hole two spaces away. The jumped marble disappears. Our recorded English Cross check started with 32 marbles and reduced the count to 31 after the first jump.

Before the next jump, look for the move that will follow it. Leaving a marble far from the others can make it difficult to remove later. The creator lists multiple modes, so the classic board instructions should not be treated as the rules for the entire collection.

Drag2words: release to submit

Read the requested word, locate its letters, then hold and drag through the bubbles in order. Release at the final letter to submit. Tapping each bubble separately is not the continuous gesture recorded in our check. Completing BAT advanced the score from 0 to 50 in that check.

The creator describes endless play. This is a useful choice when you want to pause to read the letters without racing a countdown, rather than plan several board moves ahead.

Before you settle into a longer puzzle

Open a game listing and read Controls & tips before selecting Play. All four creators describe touch support, but our brief browser checks do not establish compatibility with every phone. If finger placement obscures a small target, try Full screen or consult the phone controls guide.

Use an in-game pause control when available. Close unloads the player, and Restart reloads it; neither is a promise to preserve your current attempt. Save game on this site bookmarks the listing, not the puzzle position. Check the game's own progress rules before leaving.

For more options, browse games at your pace with documented touch support, or open the full puzzle selection. Those filters describe known features; they do not guarantee that every result is untimed.
