About Emoji Scavenger Hunt
Emoji Scavenger Hunt moves a picture-recognition challenge into your surroundings. The game shows an emoji, then asks you to find the corresponding real object and point your phone's camera at it before the timer runs out. A neural network attempts to identify the object. Start somewhere you can safely stay aware of the room while using the camera.
Google's game page explains that recognition runs locally in the browser through TensorFlow.js and says camera images are not collected or stored. The original domain now redirects to Google's archive, which still exposes the game interface and its instructions. This listing points to that official archived release, not a remake. A compatible phone camera and camera permission are necessary; we have not verified live camera recognition or current model loading.

Official project and archived game pages reviewed. A Chrome check on 2026-10-11 displayed the live title screen and Let's Play button. The button also certifies an age over 13, so it was not pressed. No camera permission was requested or granted; recognition and mobile compatibility were not tested.
